Became an Educator
Mostafa Zaki built MZ Academy after years of working as a practicing interior designer — and noticing a persistent gap between what design schools taught and what the profession actually demanded.
He saw talented, passionate people struggle to enter the field not because they lacked ability, but because they lacked the right structure, the right guidance, and the right environment to grow in.
MZ Academy was his answer to that gap: a focused, intimate, professionally-grounded diploma that meets students where they are and takes them where they want to go — regardless of their background or prior experience.
Every decision in the curriculum, every class format, and every piece of feedback reflects that founding conviction: that learning design should feel like becoming a designer — not just studying one.
